Terra-Pro® erosion protection mats are woven with weft and warp fibres in different mesh sizes and weights. The filaments are made of 100% natural coconut or jute fibre. The netting is used – as with our Terra-Pro® erosion protection mats – in gardening, landscaping, road and water area construction to protect against erosion and to aid in the establishment of vegetative growth. Other areas in which netting is employed include the creation of parks and industrial facilities. Here they are used to create shade, as blinds and as trellises for climbing plants. In contrast with Terra-Pro® erosion protection mats, the netting does not provide 100% ground coverage; depending on the mesh size it can range from 35 - 65%.
